We are a non-emergency medical transportation company that provides ambulatory, wheelchair and gurney transports. The Viking team prides themselves on reliable, on-time and friendly service as well as open and honest communication with customers and staff at facilities and hospitals. Our Viking staff come from all backgrounds, young and old, near and far but we have one common belief. That belief is that when people are hurt, sick or have an illness, they do not choose this pain so we will do our utmost to care and comfort them for the short time they are in our hands.

How Can We Help?
IS VIKING TRANSPORTATION CONTRACTED WITH MEDICARE AND/OR MEDICAID?
Unfortunately, we do not take Medicare or Medicaid at this time. We hope to be able to partner with them in the near future. We have contracts with facilities we service and take private pay with check or credit card payment.
CAN I RESERVE VIKING FOR OUT OF STATE TRIPS?
Yes! Viking is available for out of state trips. We can offer multiple day trips too! Vikings will travel most anywhere and would be happy to give you a quote for any destination.
HOW DO AIRPORT TRANSPORTS WORK?
Airport Transports work just like any other transport. Viking will pick you up, load your bags and transport you to your airline departure point. We will pick you up when you get back as well. Just ask us for a quote!

I want to recognize and recommend this excellent, medical transport company, Viking Medical Transportation Company, based in Meridian, Idaho. Recently, my elderly father had been hospitalized in Boise, Idaho. My father lives over 150 miles away from that hospital. I live out of state. Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, I was unable to travel to Idaho, to care for my father. Relatively quickly, I needed to locate a safe and dependable, medical transport company to drive my father home. I found the Viking Medical Transportation Company on-line. Viking Representative, Craig, worked diligently with me via text & cell calls, from pre-trip, through mid-trip, and to destination arrival. As an anxious daughter unable to be at her father’s side, and during a Pandemic, I will always be grateful to Craig for his humanity and kindness ; and, for working well beyond professional expectations. Moreover, this company employs a thoroughly analyzed Coronavirus Protocol, designed to ensure their passenger/ patient’s safety, and their drivers. Bravo, Viking!! These folks are seriously such blessings. I was facing getting out of the hospital with absolutely no way home. They took the time and love in their hearts to take me home. The beautiful story behind this company is amazing. So many people need the help this company offers and sadly there’s hardly any out there. But Viking Transportation is out there willing to help any and everyone. If anyone needs medical transport to appointments, to or from the hospital etc they are the best out there. Not only are doing something amazing the people behind it are such generous beautiful loving people. I don’t know what I would have done without them. I recommend them 100%. Thank you for everything. This is directed to "Shannon and the Boys" at Viking Non-Emergency transport in the Boise, Idaho area who supply superb medical transport not only in the Boise area most anywhere one would have the need for a non-emergency transport. That included in-state as well as out of state service. Everyone I have dealt with has been caring, gentle, and willing to accommodate my needs. Over the last year and a half I have used Viking to transport my wife from Baker City to Boise and back again for doctor appointment, hospital admission requiring round trips. They would leave Boise, drive to Baker City, pick up my wife, take her to Boise, then bring her back when whatever procedure she was having was completed. One time it meant they left Boise at 2am to pick up her at 5am our time and get her to her 9am appointment. There is one hour time difference to work around as well. Super job every time and kudos to all of you at Viking. I cannot say enough about our experience with Viking and will recommend Viking to anyone who needs expert non-emergency transport.
